The GS cabin has a 12.8-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus an 8.8-inch digital cluster. Dual-zone automatic climate control includes rear vents. The Atto 2 DM-i Flex GS runs as a plug-in hybrid on ethanol, gasoline or pure electricity. Its 18.03 kWh Blade battery delivers up to 110 km electric range, while the 45 L tank supports combined figures of 1,045 km on gasoline or 770 km on ethanol under the NEDC cycle. Daily urban trips can stay electric. longer journeys simply switch fuels without range anxiety.
Servicing follows BYD’s hybrid schedule of checks every 12 months. The car carries a six-year or 200,000 km vehicle warranty and an eight-year or 200,000 km Blade battery warranty. Fluid and filter changes are fewer than on pure combustion models, keeping ownership costs moderate.
Safety starts with six airbags, electronic stability, traction control and a 360-degree camera. The GS grade adds the complete ADAS 2 suite: automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise with intelligent following, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert and braking, door-open warning and traffic-sign recognition. ISOFIX anchors are fitted on the rear seats.
Living with the car means overnight AC charging at 6.6 kW and the ability to power external devices via V2L. Soft materials, dual-zone climate and the panoramic roof make long trips comfortable, while the compact size and tight turning circle suit city parking. No DC fast charge is available.
