As a pure electric hatch the Atto 1 Premium draws power from a 43.2 kWh LFP Blade battery. Official figures list 16.0 kWh/100 km use and 310 km WLTP range. AC charging reaches 11 kW while DC peaks at 85 kW for a 10-80 % top-up in about 30 minutes. Vehicle-to-load output lets you run external devices from the pack.

Servicing follows a simple schedule of every 12 months or 20,000 km after an early check. BYD offers capped-price plans through dealers, and the electric layout keeps routine maintenance light with fewer fluids and moving parts than a petrol equivalent.

Safety earns a full five-star ANCAP result from 2025 testing. The car carries six airbags plus autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise with stop-go, lane-keeping and centring assist, traffic-sign recognition, driver attention monitoring and tyre-pressure alerts. Premium adds a 360-degree camera and front parking sensors. blind-spot and rear cross-traffic systems are not fitted.

Living with the car is straightforward for city and suburban duty. The compact footprint and tight turning circle ease parking, while the long warranty and low energy costs keep ownership simple. A tyre-repair kit replaces a spare, and over-the-air updates handle software improvements.
