The xDrive30d uses a 3.0-litre six-cylinder diesel with 180 kW and 540 Nm. Official combined consumption is 7.4 litres per 100 km with 195 g/km CO2 under the EU cycle. It meets EU5 emissions. The tank holds about 85 litres.
Servicing follows the Condition Based Service system. The oil service is indicated by the onboard computer and is due at the latest after 30 000 km or 24 months. BMW Service Inclusive packages cover oil changes, filters and checks for set periods and mileages.
Standard safety kit includes airbags for driver and passenger, side airbags, head airbags covering the first and second rows, crash-active front headrests, three-point belts with pretensioners and force limiters at the front, ISOFIX anchors, DSC stability control with ABS, DTC traction control, cornering brake control, brake assistant, hill descent control and a tyre defect indicator. The car is built for everyday use with xDrive all-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic as standard. Regular adherence to CBS intervals helps maintain reliability. Optional third-row seats expand capacity to seven when needed.
