The cabin pairs a 12.3-inch digital cluster with a 14.9-inch curved touchscreen running BMW Live Cockpit Navigation Plus. The 520d mild-hybrid diesel is efficient for long-distance use. Official WLTP figures sit between 5.1 and 5.5 l/100 km depending on specification. The 60-litre tank supports extended range on motorways.
Servicing follows the Condition Based Service system that monitors oil condition and other items. Oil and filter changes typically fall due between 15 000 and 30 000 km or every one to two years. BMW Service Inclusive contracts cover scheduled maintenance for set periods and mileages.
The model carries a five-star Euro NCAP rating.
