The iX2 xDrive30 runs purely on electricity with a 64.8 kWh net battery. Official WLTP figures put combined use at 16.3-17.7 kWh per 100 km and range between 417 and 449 km. Fast DC charging tops the battery from 10 to 80 percent in 29 minutes at 130 kW. An 11 kW AC wallbox fills it from empty in roughly six and a half hours.

Servicing follows the onboard condition-based monitor rather than fixed mileage in most markets. Some regions list a 24-month interval and offer multi-year unlimited-mileage maintenance packages. The high-voltage battery itself carries an eight-year or 160000 km warranty to 70 percent state of health.

The mechanically related X2 scored five stars at Euro NCAP with solid adult, child and safety-assist results. Standard passive kit covers front, side, head and centre airbags, three-point belts with pretensioners, crash sensors and tyre-pressure monitoring. Active systems include DSC with ABS and DTC, brake assist, acoustic pedestrian protection, ISOFIX points and intelligent emergency call. Lane-keeping, blind-spot and adaptive-cruise packages are widely available.

Daily ownership centres on the electric powertrain and adaptive M suspension that balances ride and handling. A powered tailgate and dual-zone climate ease routine use. Acoustic glass and the quiet EV drivetrain keep cabin noise low on long trips.
