The Avatr 12 runs as a pure electric with CATL batteries up to about 98 kWh or as a range-extender hybrid. EV versions claim CLTC ranges from roughly 670 to 755 km depending on drive and battery. The REEV uses a small petrol generator that needs only 92-octane fuel and quotes low feed fuel use around 5.9 L/100 km plus long combined range.
Servicing looks light for an EV or hybrid. One published note puts the interval at 20000 km. Warranty is strong on the high-voltage parts at eight years or 160000 km and five years or 120000 km on the rest of the car.
Safety kit is comprehensive from the factory. Nine airbags cover the cabin. The structure mixes high-strength steel and aluminium.
