Range reaches as high as 374 miles WLTP or around 300 miles EPA with 20-inch wheels. DC fast charging hits 320 kW, allowing a 10-80 percent top-up in about 18 minutes under ideal conditions. A heat pump is standard to help efficiency in cold weather.

Servicing is lighter than for combustion cars. Intervals fall every two years or 19,000-20,000 miles and cover inspection of high-voltage components, brakes, filters and software. Some markets include six years of scheduled servicing. Brake fluid needs changing every two years. The high-voltage battery carries an eight-year or 100,000-mile warranty.

Safety equipment is extensive as standard. It includes front, side and curtain airbags, Audi pre sense basic and front with automatic emergency braking, side assist with exit warning, rear cross-traffic assist, adaptive cruise assist with lane guidance, intersection assist, attention assist and tyre pressure monitoring. Ownership centres on electric charging access and dealer or specialist care for the high-voltage system. Over-the-air updates handle many software items. Regenerative braking reduces pad wear, though discs still need corrosion checks. Remote climate pre-conditioning via the myAudi app is standard.
