The e-tron 55 quattro runs purely on electricity from its 95 kWh battery. Combined consumption sits between 22.6 and 26.2 kWh per 100 km under WLTP, delivering a range of up to around 417 km depending on equipment and conditions. A heat pump is fitted to improve efficiency in cold weather by using waste heat for cabin warming.
Servicing is straightforward for an EV. The recommended interval is every 30,000 km or two years, whichever comes first. There is no engine oil change. Checks cover high-voltage components, brakes, tyres, filters and software updates. Brake fluid is renewed every two years. Overall maintenance costs run lower than equivalent combustion models.
Safety is strong. Euro NCAP awarded five stars in 2019 with 91 percent adult occupant protection, 85 percent for children, 71 percent for vulnerable road users and 76 percent for safety assist. Standard kit includes front, side and curtain airbags, seatbelt reminders, pretensioners, ISOFIX points, Audi pre sense basic and front with autonomous emergency braking, and a lane support system. The structure stayed stable in frontal tests.
Keeping the car means monitoring battery health under the high-voltage warranty and using authorised service for software and system checks. Regenerative braking reduces wear on the friction brakes. The air suspension and solid build help long-term comfort and durability on varied roads.
