Service follows either LongLife (condition-based, maximum 30 000 km or two years) or a fixed 15 000 km/one-year oil change plus 30 000 km/two-year inspection. Brake fluid is due every two years. Use only VW 507 00 specification oil. The dual-clutch S tronic and quattro system benefit from timely fluid changes around 60 000 km.
Safety starts with a five-star Euro NCAP result shared with the A4 range. Standard equipment covers six airbags, electronic stability control, Pre Sense City autonomous emergency braking that works up to 85 km/h on vehicles and pedestrians, multi-collision brake assist and ISOFIX anchors.
