The cabin has a 5.8-inch colour display as standard with MMI controls and Bluetooth. Manual air conditioning is standard on base grades. dual-zone automatic climate control comes on higher trims or as an option. The 1.4 TFSI runs on premium unleaded 95 RON. Official combined consumption sits at 5.3 l/100 km with 123 g/km CO2 on the NEDC cycle used at launch. Real-world figures stay close when driven gently thanks to the start-stop system.
Servicing follows the onboard indicator, allowing intervals of up to 19,000 miles or two years. Warranty cover is three years or 60,000 miles with three years paint and twelve years rust perforation.
Euro NCAP awarded five stars in 2012 with strong adult and child scores. Standard kit includes ESC with electronic limited-slip differential, multi-collision braking, dual front airbags, side and curtain airbags plus a driver knee airbag, and seatbelt reminders on all seats. Pre-sense basic and other aids were optional.
