Servicing follows a yearly or 10,000-mile schedule at authorised centres. Fixed-price dealer visits run several hundred pounds each time. Some longer-interval items such as filters and fluids appear at 20,000 or 40,000 miles. A three-year unlimited-mileage warranty is standard from new.
Safety equipment covers dual-stage front airbags, side, curtain, knee and seat-mounted thorax/pelvis bags plus stability and traction systems. Carbon-ceramic brakes are fitted as standard. Parking sensors, tyre-pressure monitoring and a camera system help daily use. Blind-spot detection is available. The car was never crash-tested by major agencies.
Keeping the car means regular dealer or specialist care to protect residual value. Tyres and brakes wear with the performance, and independent specialists can lower costs once the factory warranty ends. Extended cover is offered for older examples.
