Alfa Romeo Alfetta GTV 1980–1986 car dimensions: 4260 mm long, 1664 mm wide and 1330 mm high. Unladen weight is 1,110 kg. Braked towing is 1,000 kg.
The cabin features a classic layout with all main gauges grouped in front of the driver after the 1980 restyle. Steering wheel height is adjustable. Front seats are supportive sports type, with leather available as an option or on higher grades. Air conditioning is optional on most versions and standard on US-market GTV6 models. No electronic driver aids are fitted.
Boot space measures 370 litres and is reached through a large glass hatch. The rear seats do not fold on most cars, so the space remains fixed.
Braked towing capacity is listed at 1000 kg. Payload is approximately 340 kg based on kerb and gross weights. The GTV6 versions received a stronger drivetrain and firmer suspension calibration to handle the extra power.
The cabin feels sporty with deeply contoured front seats that give good side support and height adjustment. Dual controls let driver and passenger set air flow separately. From 1983 sport seats became standard and soundproofing improved. Rear seats fit two for short trips. The hatch opens to a useful luggage area.
