The 500e Cabrio runs a 42 kWh battery and front electric motor. Official WLTP mixed figures are 17.9 kWh/100 km and 255 km range on base models. Turismo Cabrio drops to around 242 km. Real-world range is lower in cold weather or hard driving. AC charging reaches 11 kW. DC peaks at 85 kW for roughly 80% in 35 minutes. Zero tailpipe CO2.

Servicing follows a 12-month or 9,000-mile schedule, same as the petrol Abarth. Checks cover the 12 V battery, underbody battery tray, brakes and software. Fewer mechanical items than a combustion car mean simpler visits, though intervals remain relatively short for an EV.

Safety hardware includes six airbags, ESP with hill holder, autonomous emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, traffic-sign recognition, drowsy-driver alert and eCall as standard. Higher trims add blind-spot warning, adaptive cruise and 360-degree cameras. The car inherits the Fiat 500e’s 2021 Euro NCAP four-star rating (76% adult, 80% child, 67% vulnerable road user, 67% assist).

Keep the car by charging regularly at home where possible and watching the 12 V battery. High-voltage battery cover runs eight years or 160,000 km. Body anti-perforation is eight years. Soft-top protection and regular roof mechanism checks help long-term ownership.
